Everyone’s car gets a little messy and cluttered from time to time. If you use your car to store CD’s, parking permits and other important items, then you’re bound to become annoyed and flustered when you cannot find these items amongst all of your clutter. This is why keeping your car organized and clean is so important.
Next time you get in your car to drive to the gym, go to the mall or visit a friend’s house to play Cheekybingo,  take a vacuum and a plastic bag with you and get cleaning!

  • Step 1 – Getting clean
Begin by cleaning out your car thoroughly. Get a big plastic bag and throw away old candy bar wrappers, trash and old crumpled maps. Place anything you need or want to keep to one side, then vacuum the interior of your car.
  • Step 2 – Organize your glove box
Use your glove box to keep important files or items in rather than using it as a space to store trash. In your glove box just keep the necessities such as a first aid kit, a flash light, your car manual and a small notebook containing important phone numbers.
  • Step 3 – It’s time for some change
If your car has a specific  storage area for loose change then make sure you actually use it. If you do not have this compartment then simply gather loose change and keep it in a small purse or a resealable bag and store it in your glove box.
  • Step 4 – Plan car washes around trips to the gas station
Rather than wasting your precious Saturday afternoon cleaning your vehicle yourself, why not combine your trips to the gas station with a car wash and wax? This will help keep your vehicle in tip-top condition all of the time, plus many gas stations offer discounts. If  you schedule these things together you can save yourself some time and effort.
  • Step 5 – Buy a bin
Rather than littering your car with trash, get yourself a mini car bin. It is much safer to put your empty bottles in a bin instead of risking them rolling under your break pedal.
