Your Future Is Blurry
As a teen, you may daydream of what your future will look like. Where will you live? Who will you marry? What will your children look like? What do you want to be? God hasn’t revealed all of it to you yet because you are so young. Your future is blurry-you can see parts of it but not all of it.
God Wants To Know You
Now is the time to create a clearer vision for your life and to stay laser focused on it. Now is also the time to get in the word and learn WHO God is so that you will know WHO you are. That way when hard choices and life-changing decisions need to be made, you will have the tools to decide. You still won’t know exactly how that decision will turn out, but you can base it on your vision, who you are and your trust in Him to lead you!
If you are between the ages of 13-18 join us for a fun day of learning about God, making friends, games, food, worship, and fun!

MEET OUR MC:
RANDSLEY BERRY is currently a junior in high school. In October of 2017 she attend the Encounter Conference that changed her life forever. It was that weekend when she decided she wanted other teens in her local community to experience the same encounter with Jesus that she had. Since then Randsley is passionate about sharing her testimony and love for Jesus with other teens.
JENN HUGHES is on staff as a Global Children’s ministry assistant director at Redeemer Church in Utica, NY. She participates in youth worship team and ministry with the Encounter Conference and Jr high youth.
From Jenn: I’ve been in church my whole life and I got saved at a young age. I never completely fell off the wagon. But I severely struggled with mindset battles. I struggled with believing that God cared about my future and my dreams and because of that; I struggled with depression and peer pressure and wanting people to accept me. With all of those things I was dealing with, I felt pretty alone. But God has shown me that He is so faithful. He heard my prayers during all of those dark times growing up. He has shown me more and more through the years of who He is and what He has done for me. Life isn’t always easy, but I firmly believe in the power of the cross. He sets us all free and because of Jesus each prayer we have to offer him truly matters.
JONATHAN BURGIO played Division 1 football for the University of Buffalo and was the first ever college athlete to win the Frank Reich “Call to Courage” award. After graduating, he worked as a financial advisor for over two years before leaving his career to become a full-time missionary with BASIC College Ministries and he eventually became the Executive Director of the entire ministry. He is now the lead pastor of Love Joy Church, the church he was born and raised in, which his dad pastored for 33 years, located in Buffalo, NY. He is married to Nicki and has a son Jonathan Jr. with another on the way.
